Ogun APC chieftain rallies support for Sen Abdullahi Adamu
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun State, Prince Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Sen Abdullahi Adamu urging him to deploy his well oiled party administration experience to reposition the ruling party ahead of 2023 elections.
Prince Ayoola has equally lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring the success of the party’s national convention over the weekend despite all odds saying that the President has by this achievement demonstrated again that he was keen about deepening the tenets of democracy in the country.
The political scientist said the major task ahead of Sen Adamu leadership would be to ensure genuine reconciliation and unity of the party members across the nation saying that no stone should be left unturned while no sacrifice should be considered too big to make the party more formidable and continue governance beyond 2023.
The APC stalwart made this disclosure in statement made available to journalists.
Congratulating Sen Abdullahi Adamu on his newly found role in the ruling party, Ayoola described the former two-term governor of Nasarawa State as an highly successful, conscientious and dutiful politician who has all it takes to manage all the diverse interest in the party for another overwhelming victory during 2023 elections.
He said “I want to use this medium to identify with the success of our party national convention. I want to thank our President, Muhammadu Buhari for his intervention and ensuring that the convention went ahead as planned, there is no better way to deepen our democracy other than by following laid down rules and procedure and this the President has supported”.
Ayoola said “I must as well congratulate our newly elected National Chairman, Sen Abdullahi Adamu, a two-term governor and currently, a sitting Senator representing Nasarawa West. He is a seasoned politician and truly possesses the capability to steer the party to path of greater heights and victory even as 2023 general elections approach”.
He said “what is only needed for the Sen Abdullahi Adamu led executives to succeed is massive support and cooperation of other members of the party across the country. It is on this note that I am urging other members of the party to please support this new leadership of the party to make a success of the onerous tasks ahead”.
